Rosa Martínez came to New Jersey from Barranquilla, Colombia, in 2008. Four years later, with a borrowed vacuum and two clients from church, she started cleaning houses on her own.

Word of mouth did the rest. Families told their neighbors, neighbors told their friends, and in 2016 Rosa hired Yesenia, her first teammate. Today Casa Brillante is a team of eight, cleaning more than 120 homes every month across Union and Essex counties.

Some things never changed: Rosa still meets every new family herself, every client gets the same team each visit, and nobody leaves a home until it shines.
